Benefits
Restoration of German
citizenship is desirable for a variety of reasons. Once your petition
for re-naturalization is granted, you will not only have all the
rights and privileges of German citizens, but you will also enjoy the
benefits of membership in the European Union ("EU").
These
include the the right to live and the right to work not only in
Germany, but in every one of the 27 European member countries,
including the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Italy, Spain, Greece,
the Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden and many more.
In addition to
opening up Europe's labor market to re-naturalized candidates, older
re-naturalized German citizens can retire in Germany or any other EU
country and take advantage of Europe's cultural wealth while benefiting
from its excellent (and virtually free) health care systems. Successful
younger applicants will be eligible to study at the best universities
across Europe for a fraction of the tuition of private educational
institutions in the United States.
Best of all, you can enjoy
these benefits while remaining a United States citizen -- you will not
be required to give up your US citizenship or passport.
